Made Me Smile: My Best Friend and her boyfriend had a Baby Girl on Monday 22nd April, Meet my God-Daughter Alexa Jean.

Picture: I love roadtrips & adventures which was when this picture was taken of my friend and I on our travels around and outside London on the weekend. 

Song: I love every song that Bri Bry writes but this week I've been really loving Adventure Time & Child, Not only does he write and sing , he also has a YouTube series called 'Things to do before you die'. 100% of the revenue made from his videos will go to the charity he runs called #CutCakeNotWrists

Favourite's Of The Week

I may make this type of post into a weekly thing. I love sharing what my current favourite's are and doing the 'Monthly Favourite's' posts are ones I really enjoy to do. I think I'm going to try and keep these weekly posts more of a 'Random'/'Non Beauty' type and leave the more beauty side to the monthly posts.

Made me smile: My Best Friend moved to Greece on Monday, I met her in Heathrow Airport for her 2 hour layover and I gave her the phone cases I bought for us both.

Picture:  I went out for my flatmates birthday on Thursday. They were playing Charades and I just think its such a happy picture.

Song: I've always loved Paramore but their new song 'Still into you' is pretty awesome!

Nail Polish: Maybelline Colour Show Ocean Blue 661, such a beautiful colour.

Food: I think in the past week I've had pizza & salad about 4 times..slight addiction, maybe?

What It Means To Me

I know a lot of people have quotes that they live by or just really love and I am no exception. I could sit and read quotes all day long and be quite content. I have a few quotes that stick out to me as being my 'favourite' or that mean something to me in some way. I wrote a post about some of my favourite quotes a while back, you can check that out here if you like. 

I chose this quote above mainly because it's very true. 'We cannot control the wind, but we can direct the sail'. I'm sure many people have different ideas as to what this quote means to them as most quotes do but for me this is what it means.

• Surround yourself with people who will point you in the right direction as sometimes life may have its ups and downs.
• You may experience some bumps along the way to your destination but keep your eye on the goal you will eventually get there.
• If you have something worth achieving then go for it, people or life may get in the way sometimes but keep your eye on the finish line and strive to get there.
• Although you may not think what others are doing is right you can control your own actions.
