Bio Oil

I bought this bottle about 8 months ago

Bio Oil is something I only discovered in the past year and half. Since finding this amazing creation I have been using it weekly as a 'deep moisturizer'  and also daily on my scars, to calm redness and also uneven skin tones around my nose and cheeks. I advise using this oil when you have a spare few hours to let it sink into your skin.

Over the past 8 years I have gotten many different piercings, including 7 lip piercings, eyebrow, belly button and hips.. yes hips! As much as I loved/love all of these piercings and never have I regretted any of them I have now been left with some nasty little scars that I wish were not there. Since using bio oil I have noticed how drastically my scars have faded, mostly my eyebrow, hips and 2 lip piercings.
For a big change to be noticeable you need to use this oil twice a day for at least 3 months. I know that sounds like a heck of a long time to apply oil everyday but honestly it's worth it when you start to see the results. Depending on the size of scaring you may be able to see results after 2 weeks which was the case for me and my hip piercings.
My eyebrow scar and also 1 lip piercing have completely faded to the point where I can barely see it anymore and 1 other lip piercing has faded a huge amount.

I use this oil twice a day to help with redness and uneven skin tone around my nose and cheeks, again this has been a huge help in keeping the redness down particularly around my nose as this is the worst spot for me and I have seen a definite improvement in my cheeks also.

Usually once a week I will 'deep moisturize' my face by using a face cloth to dampen my face, take a small amount of bio oil in my hand, rub together to slightly heat it up and while my face is still damp I will evenly spread the oil all over my face. You may not look too appealing and you may look kinda sweaty but if it's doing your skin wonders well then who cares.. :) & relax while this sinks into your skin.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a moisturizing, uneven skin tone, scar-fighting oil.

Have you tried this oil, what did you think? Or have you tried any other oils or creams you would recommend?  Let me know, I'd love to hear x

My 2012 Favourite's

I thought seeing as now it's the beginning of 2013 I would do a post about my 2012 favourite's  from beauty, hair, & some other bits and bobs.

These are some of the things that have been my bestfriends throughout the year.. I like 'em a lot a lot a lot. . a lot.

Soap and glory is one of my favourite brands and this body wash was everything i expected it would be, it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and smelling amazing. CLICK: HERE

I don't think there has been an  Aussie product I've ever  used and disliked but these three  pictured above would have to be the ones I enjoy using the most and also my hair seems to like it very much also. Happy hair makes Chloë happy.

Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder  in 001 Transparent has definitely been a life saver on many occasions, I don't tend to have really oily skin but when I do it tends to happen around my nose and also my chin, so I definitely recommend this to anyone that has a tad bit of oily skin, it keeps it at bay some what.
Rimmel match perfection in 001 Light  this blush for me seemed to have all of my attention during the year.

Some of my favourite jewellery and Hair pieces

Garnier BB Cream - Light
Rimmel match perfection - 010 Procelain light

I've been really into red lipstick/tints recently

Rimmel Kate Moss - 107
Maybelline Super stay tint gloss - 120 Berry Heavenly

OH MY DAYS. This has always been and probably always will  be my favourite soap & Glory product. If you are yet to have the experience of using this then you are definitely missing out. It smells amazing (just like all soap & glory products) but i'm not even kidding it leaves your skin so silky smooth and fresh, I can't say enough about this.
I get all of my Soap & Glory products from Boots, mainly because the majority of the time they will have a '3 for 2' offer on. You can also check it out: HERE

I am a lover of Garnier anything (mostly) but this '24hr spot fighting moisturiser' has really helped my skin improve, as a person that suffers  with acne every so often I can honestly say that this cream has helped wonders. Big thumbs up from me.
And last but most certainly not least,
Bio Oil  I'm not sure how but I only discovered this in 2012 but my golly gosh am I glad I did. So far it has helped a HEAP with the uneven skin tone around my nose and chin, the scaring from where I use to have my lip pierced has faded so much and all in all I feel like my skin is a lot more healthy looking since using it. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or Oily (as you would probably think it would). Thank you Bio Oil.

So therwe have it, the things I  loved to use in 2012
and still love to use.

What were some of the things you loved the past year? Let me know :)
